Thinking Style
This refers to the style people use to think and make sense of their world. We adapted ‘thinking style’ specifically to the business context to describe how employees view, categorize, and process information in their workplace. This ultimately influences how employees view and understand work situations or events, such as a co-worker’s behavior or change in management. The key distinction is whether people are big-picture thinkers or more detail-oriented. Both are needed, but big-picture thinking is more helpful in being adaptable.
